I don't even do residential design, commercial only, but I still love to look at pictures for inspiration. I am in love with the black and white anything! These rugs especially. Sometimes its hard to find that perfect patterned rug that pulls the whole room together. Well, let's not make it too complicated...

Christmas List

My Christmas list this year is pretty practical. Sometimes its nice to get things you don't like to buy for yourself.

1. New luggage: Mine is beat to hell from years of airport abuse.

2. A very warm coat: Northface makes the best down jackets.

3. I always enjoy adding a great Design book to my collection.

3. Coldgear: Under Armor leggings. I am such a baby when it comes to being cold. I would wear these under everything!

4. Sheets: Dwell Studio has some great patterns. And yes I hate buying sheets for myself.

5. iphone 4: My 3Gs works fine. I just really like the pictures the 4 takes so much better...

There it is. Pretty boring I know.

There's just something so perfect about white walls and dark floors. I don't see the need for beige or tan walls. Random I know. Just a thought.

I am such a sucker for a gimmick! But, this sounds really cool! They actually change colors with the temperature of your body. And they have fun names like Mellow, Hyper, Flirty, Devious, Curious, and Blissful. And they are only $8. Sold!

Chair Makeover

Me and my friend Kayla found this beauty at a yard sale for $10. Not much to look at right now...

Here's the BEFORE:

And here's the AFTER:

We found the fabric at Hancock's for $6.99 a yard! It took some time pulling the chair apart and stapling the fabric to the existing cushions. But, in the end I think it turned out so cute!!
